As Centre Manager of MaREI, the SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine Research, Gillian has provided leadership and strategic direction to the Centre since its inception in 2012 as well as being responsible for its day to day operational management and business development activities. Now moving MaREI into Phase II, Gillian continues to provide strategic leadership to the operational team to enable sustained operational excellence. The Centre has 200 researchers, 50 industry partners and a total budget of €60M.
