Suzanne has an MSc and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She has work experience in HVAC consulting, Green Building consulting, and failure investigations, and most recently worked for herself conducting thermal modelling and energy compliance reporting.

She moved to Ireland to pursue a PhD titled ‘Integration of multiple Pinch Analysis (PA) techniques (total site, power, area wide and CO₂ emission reduction PA) to enable a community level circular economy’ focusses on the village of Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, under the supervision of Dr. Ken Bruton in UCC.
