Resilient classrooms for the future – Exploring lean and agile techniques for sustainable and healthy learning environments
The indoor climate of a classroom affects wellbeing and performance of students. Extreme events like heatwaves, wildfires, or an epidemic of respiratory pathogens can significantly impact the indoor climate of classrooms. This research aims to offer an alternative scenario, where classrooms are designed to face such challenges to their indoor climate and continue functioning in an energy efficient manner and providing more conducive learning environments and less disruptions to schools.
